Job Description

📍 Osborne Park, WA | 🕒 Full-Time, Monday–Friday | 📅 Permanent

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team at our new head office in Osborne Park. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage financial records with accuracy and integrity. Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss and cashflow statements
  • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate coding, balance sheet reconciliations
  • Posting of monthly general journals
  • Formulation of budgets / forecasts on a quarterly basis and variance analysis
  • Monthly maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns including BAS, Payroll, and FBT returns
  • Preparation of the annual financial statements, including supporting work papers
  • Liaising with external accountants and JV partner
  • Revenue invoicing and AR collection
  • Bank statement / cashbook reconciliation and postings
  • Ensure compliance with company policies

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Accounting role
  • Working towards CPA/CA qualifications or in progress
  • Experience in mining operations within Australia is preferred
  • Attention to detail, with a desire to probe further into data
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey complex financial language to non-financial stakeholder 
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
