Job Description

About the Role:

Maramara is seeking a panel of experienced Civil Supervisors to oversee site works for a 3km flood bund construction project adjacent to the South Jimblebar Pit. This is a hands-on leadership role for highly driven individuals with proven experience in civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage site crews to meet daily and project-wide milestones.
  • Oversee clean-up and trimming post BHP bulk excavation.
  • Supervise loading, hauling, placement, and compaction of client-supplied bund material.
  • Ensure correct shaping, moisture conditioning, and trimming of the embankment.
  • Oversee installation of polypipe sleeves over existing dewatering lines, including poly welding and clay lining.
  • Monitor skeleton bucket screening of client-supplied material.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive project efficiency.
  • Proactively resolve on-site issues and uphold high-quality workmanship.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor in civils.
  • Mandatory: S26 statutory supervisor certification
  • In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes and standards.
  • Strong leadership and team mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of site safety protocols.
  • Current Driver’s Licence and White Card.
