ReGroup are currently seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Advisor to join our team on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off OR 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster based in Mt Isa, Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing operation while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will play a key role in supporting site operations by promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and driving best-practice health, safety, and environmental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HSE support and guidance to site personnel
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Assist in incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and inductions
- Maintain and improve HSE management systems and documentation
- Monitor compliance with relevant WHS legislation and company policies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety and environmental performance
About You
- Proven experience in a similar HSE Advisor role, ideally within mining, construction, or heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and standards
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a remote team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
