Reporting to the Workshop Superintendent, the Material Logistics Officer is a role that supports maintenance activities through management of materials to meet daily operational and shutdown requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety.
- Coordinate weekly and shutdown logistic activities to meet operations.
- Create and follow up on purchase orders and material movements with contracting partners or vendors.
- Manage inventory, overseeing storage, tracking and distribution of materials.
- Set up and management of the inventory stock based onsite.
- Return/create and add stock and rotables into the stores.
- Run material reports for weekly and shutdown to establish material availability and risk.
Qualifications And Experience
- Current WA C Class Drivers Licence (HR Licence desired).
- High Risk Forklift (LF) Licence.
- Experience in mining procurement/warehouse logistics.
- Good communication skills and experience dealing with equipment / transport vendors.
- Experience in Microsoft suite is essential.
- An understanding of and experience in purchasing.
