ReGroup are looking for a skilled HSE Advisor to join our team. This role combines both Corporate and Operational responsibilities and is ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse and hands-on work environment. You will play a key role in developing, implementing, supporting HSE systems, and processes. 

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, site safety systems, and project procedures
• Perform routine safety inspections, hazard observations, and risk assessments
• Lead or support incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Undertake internal HSE audits and attend client HSE meetings
• Prepare, maintain, and communicate HSE reports, records, and project documentation
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project-specific HSE procedures and work instructions and internal communication tools
• Liaise with clients, auditors, inspectors, and other stakeholders to support HSE outcomes
• Build positive working relationships with project personnel to promote safety awareness

Technical Skills & Experience

• Proficient in Myosh (advanced configuration and workflow design experience highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and compliance requirements
• Experience in incident investigation, corrective action development, and risk management
• Proficiency in developing HSE Management systems, including facilitation of internal HSE training
• Competence in HSE auditing, reporting, document control, and data analysis
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders on safety matters.

What you will bring

• Formal HSE qualifications (minimum Cert IV in OHS)
• Previous experience in a HSE role for a minimum of 3 years
• Experience in high-risk transport industries is highly desirable
• Exposure to safety culture initiatives or continuous improvement programs is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with site teams, Project Managers, and senior leadership
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and quality in data
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise multiple tasks
