We’re on the lookout for a proactive, experienced Haulage Supervisor to lead daily bulk haulage operations out of Port Hedland, manage fleet performance, and supervise a team of drivers to ensure smooth, safe, and timely material movement.
About the Role
- Oversee day-to-day site haulage operations
- Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate dispatch and delivery schedules to minimise downtime
- Lead, support and develop a team of drivers and operators
- Monitor fleet performance and ensure vehicles are maintained
- Conduct regular compliance and safety checks, including pre-start meetings, safety briefings, and incident investigations
- Maintain accurate records and operational documentation
- Liaise with internal teams and contractors for seamless coordination
About You
- Proven supervisory experience within Bulk Haulage or Mining Haulage operations
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft software
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Hold a current S26 Statutory Supervisor Certification, or be willing to obtain
- Sound knowledge of logistics, fleet operations & scheduling
- Clear and confident leadership with excellent communication skills
- Organised, reliable and solutions-focused under pressure
- Hands-on, practical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening
