8:6 FIFO | Competitive Salary | Career Growth | Major Mining Projects
Build the project. Build the team. Build your career.
REGROUP is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Mining Project Manager to join our expanding team.
This isn’t a role where you simply inherit an established project and manage it from the sidelines. You’ll be involved from the start, helping mobilise the project, build the team, establish systems and processes, and set the operation up for long-term success.
If you’re a hands-on Project Manager who enjoys leadership, commercial accountability and delivering projects safely and successfully, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of project delivery from mobilisation through to completion, working closely with our leadership team, clients, subcontractors and site crews.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the planning, mobilisation and delivery of mining and civil projects
- Building and developing high-performing site teams
- Supporting recruitment, interviewing and selection of project personnel
- Establishing effective project systems, processes and reporting from the ground up
- Managing projects against agreed scope, schedule, budget and contractual requirements
- Leading and coordinating site operations, subcontractors and suppliers
- Managing project costs, forecasts, procurement and commercial performance
- Identifying, managing and recovering contractual variations
- Developing and maintaining project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6
- Managing project risks and proactively resolving issues before they impact delivery
- Ensuring projects meet required safety, environmental, quality and compliance standards
- Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
- Monitoring project performance through accurate data, reporting and KPI management
- Driving continuous improvement and maintaining a strong safety and team culture
- Managing project close-out with a focus on quality, minimal defects and successful handover
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who combines strong project management capability with genuine leadership and commercial understanding.
You’ll ideally have:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Mining Project Manager
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex mining, civil or infrastructure projects
- Strong commercial and financial management skills
- Proven ability to manage projects to budget, schedule and contractual requirements
- Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and multiple project stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of construction and mining methodologies
- Excellent understanding of safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Proven ability to build, lead and motivate high-performing teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Project is essential
- Experience with Primavera P6 will be highly regarded
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong work ethic
- The ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership and accountability
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to make an impact — not just manage a project.
